Looking at getting a 2015 or 2016 S5 Convertible 3.0.

Local Audi main dealer has a high mileage (92k) 2015 (15 plate) for £16k.

Similar specced cars are around with 20-25k miles, for a 2015 around £20k and for a 2016 (16 plate) around £25k

Price is not the major factor in this .... should the high miler be discounted?

I think I know the answer, but be good to get some input from the panel wink

ignore the high miler unless very cheap and you have no plans to sell until mileage makes little odds to value

If price is not the issue get the lower mileage car, with the possibility of DSG borkage (not that later cars are showing this) but at £3k for a gearbox rebuild if the worst did happen... I’ve run one for 5 years, (2015 car) and it’s a great alrounder.
