Wifes Mk6 golf has the MDI (media device interface) option that lets you connect a USB or IPOD to the car and control through the stereo. Also has the AUX socket down by the handbrake. Not sure if you retrofit it or not.
Hi even when I use an aux cable I’m still not unable to change the music back and forward through the steering wheel but I am able to change the volume Hi,
What's more than likely happening is that you're changing the volume of the car stereo rather than the volume of the origin device.
I think the only unit I've seen online which allows you to skip tracks etc is the "Invery Air dual.". Can be had from their website for about $80 just now.

You have neither, MMI is Audi's rotary-dial controlled infotainment system (like BMW idrive). If you have a golf with a black and white screen chances are it is an RCD-310. If it is a colour touchscreen with no nav, this is the RCD-510, and the Big screen nav is the RNS-510.SteBrown91 said:

i think ill just be better off installing a rcd 330 for about 200 than buying a bluetooth adaptor alone for 80Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
