Tts 8j spare wheel query

I know it's been covered many times but if anyone can help I'll be very grateful.
I have an 8j tts roadster on 19" wheels and would like to get a space saver spare wheel, I appreciate there is work to be done to foam parts below floor.
The wheels I have seen available for the 8j are 18" and I have been told this will be ok as a temporary fix.
The other thing with this wheel is it wont fit on the fronts due to brake caliper size on tts. So if you get a flat on front wheels it will involve taking off back wheel to fit on front and putting space saver on back.
I have seen on a US forum this can be solved by using a mk4 VW golf space saver.
Has anyone out there tried this with any success?

Don’t know if the TT wheel will go in the front of your car but if you drop them an email they might know (if they’re working at the moment).

I would have thought your TTS would have a 5x112 stud pattern whereas the MK4 Golf has a 5x100 stud pattern.

Possibly a space saver off a MK5 R32 will do the job. I had one but never had to find out if the space saver fitted over the front brakes thankfully.

Many thanks for your replies. I have found a wheel by road angel and am waiting for their reply as to whether it fits over tts front calipers. Will keep trying if no luck

I have a 2018 Leon Cupra with a space saver. I imagine this might fit?

I had an 8J TTS before and kept my 17" winter wheels, which fit over the brakes on the TT but don't fit the Cupra.

The PCD is the same but not sure on offset
