C6 A6 air suspension, how high can it go?
Discussion
I am currently looking at getting a C6 A6 allroad, probably around 09-11, however I have seen a few A6s with the optional air suspension and I'm wondering if that would do the job.
I don't off road much but I do access ski fields here in NZ which often have gravel roads with loose fist sized rocks strewen over them. My current car is a 2000 Legacy GTB and to be honest it's a bit low at times, I have felt and heard rocks roll down the under side of the car as I've gone over them.
I know the allroad would be good but does the A6 with the adjustable air suspension get to a similar height when jacked up or should I stop looking at them and keep to the allroad?
As an aside does anyone know if they put the 3.0tfsi in the allroad towards the end of that generation? I know it went in the A6 but haven't seen an allroad with it.
