Audi TT Mk2 buying advice please

I'm looking to buy a used Mk2 and have a budget of about 7k. What are peoples thoughts on the sweet spot for that kind of money ( I know its not a fortune) Its going to be fairly low miles so I don't mind whether its petrol or diesel and is there anything in particular I need to look out for?
