Wing mirror glass vibrating Audi A3 2012

Hi guys

Firstly apologies if this issue has been brought up with before, and hopefully there's already a helpful thread that someone can point me towards.

The glass on the passenger wing mirror will vibrate to the point that I'm unable to see out of it.
Starts around 40+ mph.
Is this an easy fix!/ common problem?
I've ordered a replacement glass and base but don't want to fiddle around until it arrives incase something's broke in the housing.

In my case in was the motor behind it. Previous owner had forced the glass in to the point where I needed another motor.

I would suggest that your glass is about to fall off from the backing.

I used double sided tape to both of mine.
