Skoda Rapid TPMS button stuck

Your help is required. Thanks to a combination of Wife and the dopey dog, the TPMS button is now stuck and can't be pressed. It has shutdown the TPMS system and brought up the warning light and an error message when the ignition is turned on. Any ideas how to get the button out, as I'll get a generic VAG one from a breakers to swap it with.
