2012 VW Beetle 1.2 or 1.4 tsi

Looking for some advice on these as my wife has decided she wants one. We like these a lot, but I'm struggling to find definitive information about whether these are plagued by the timing chain issues.

Does any one know much about these cars and which are the best ones to go for?

Also, generally, what are these like to live with?
