Probable problem is. . . ?

Hi all, just asking you all what your best guess is for my fault. . . .

VW MK6 Golf 2.0TDI with 100k miles

It drives well but I only do short journeys and only cover 6k a year

Recently when I'm driving from a 20mph to 30mph and just want to accelerate slightly ( speed cameras are popular ) the car sometimes stutters, if I was to accelerate hard it never happens; what is the likely fault lads?

My wild, armchair, guess...

Check for an air leak in the intake piping, or maybe a mass airflow meter.

But in reality it could be a lot of things.

Find a local specialist VW independent as main dealers normally charge a minimum £90 plus VAT for a diagnosis.
