Which A4/A5 for Tuning?

Going through a load of different car ideas at the minute. I need something that has relative practicality (4.5 seats and isofix is good enough 😬) but still pulls.
Budget wise, the S/RS cars are not an option. I do like the look and feel of the A4/5 cars though. Which model would be best for tuning? And which variation? Black edition, S line?
I imagine Quattro is the way to go in terms of drive train, but most of the engine configurations are 2.0L TFSI from what I can see. It would be nice to see a 300+ BHP figure out of it.
What is potentially the best way to go?
