A4 Avant 40 TFSI

Anyone have one of these?

Looking at replacing my leggy Merc 250 CDI for an A4 Avant (the 40 TFSI 204 sport s tronic to be exact)

Not convinced that getting a large diesel car for another 3-4 years is the way to go.

Power seems similar to the Merc but obviously torque will be a little lower.

Is the 40 engine sufficient or does it feel a little underpowered? (I expect the 35 version would). Obviously I'm not expecting an RS4 but dont want something that feels lethargic.

There seem to be some pretty good lease deals on these at the moment.
