Random Low Power and Poor MPG

Hi Folks,

09 Golf MK6 Gt TDI 118k - with the Diesel Gate emissions fix ECU flash.

Very random engine performance.

Usually 55 av MPG and feels boosty. But then often will drop to 45 ave mpg and feel like no turbo boost at all.

I am guessing this something to do with the Diesel Gate awful software update. So a REVO flash should sort all ?

i would consider getting a 2nd and 3rd option from a couple of VW group indies before just assuming its the polar bear friendly ECU fix.

Faulty MAF, boost leak, turbo on its way out ???

Thanks, there are no fault codes indicating to an issue.

And a recent vacuum test, showed that the turbo accuator is moving fine.

If it was a MAF / failing Turbo, would there not be at least a fault code and / or a check engine light?

Has been this random since I owned the car since 54k.
