Hey guys,

There is this problem of driver side foot well getting a little wet on audi a3 8l. I have cleaned the drain holes, checked the filter housing which seems okay.. What can cause it ? Cant really find the answers here

Our 2006 A6 had water draining into one of the chassis rails and then through the floor via the non water tight plastic covers. Solved by putting a piece of pipe on the drain grommet to direct the water away from the chassis rail. For good measure the bungs in the chassis rail under the car were removed to allow water to drain out.

I had a lake inside my A6 C6...

I had already removed the rubber bungs along the scuttle but the A6 has channels running under the car (green) and the drains from this (3&4) were blocked.

The only way for the water to go then was UP (1&2) into the rear foot wells!

It might be the same in your A3?

Stupid design....
