Trip to the dealers for a reset, they're the only people with the machine that does it (its name escapes me)

The equipment is not main dealer exclusive although independents are thin in number right now; you are looking for "ADAS calibration". We do a lot for this reason as main dealer charges can be excessive.

You need a diagnostic to confirm that nothing is broken; the systems rely on a number of sensor inputs and the main radar is easily disturbed. If all is well you'll need to visit somewhere with an ADAS rig to have it calibrated.

If the car is due or nearing tyres/wheel-alignment do this first.

Thanks Dr. G, I visited ADAS , they told me ACC is fully calibrated, Fault may be somewhere else. So thought to post here, might get some pointers.

VW dealer or good specialist to find root cause.
