Just a rant really. My Mrs has a new Golf and the servicing has gone online now. Not accessable in the dash like BMW but originally on an App which is no longer supported/used and now online.
After having it's first service I checked online to see if it had been registered (as I have low expectations for things like that).
Their myWVUK website is possibly the worst I've seen for a very long time. It even makes the GovUK sites look good.
You canstantly go round and round in circles, giving away more informatiuon at each stage only to get to the service which hasnt been registered!
Fair do's, I'll give them a few days to update it so I come back today and it wants me to register again but then tells me ive already regsistered!
It takes 30 minutes of faffing around to actually find where the service is only to get 'The vehicle details could not be loaded. Please try again later'.
Possibly the worst user experience I have ever had!
Rant over!

I did get a receipt but would be nice if they updated the online version.
The cynic in me says they do this to stop you getting it serviced elsewhere.
In any case if you pay top dollar they should do it.

The App might be my fault!

I've had literally years of back and forth with the dealer and VW CS as the info for her car was never correct and got worse every year - amongst other issues, it showed the earlier serviced had been done in our ownership and later services were carried out under a previous owner! Never mind how illogical that is, I wouldn't mind but we've owned the car from new.

What particularly annoyed me was it threw up red warnings that work was overdue - yet it had all been done.

A few months ago they triumphantly declared that it definitely had been fixed (they've told me that mutliple times before) - I looked at the App and got the 'no longer supported mesage'!

Any garage can register for it. We are not (thankfully) a VW dealer.
