VW T5.1 - airbag fault code not clearing

I rebuilt my T5.1's dashboard air vent controls today, having had issues with one of the cables inside. This meant dismantling the centre dash and disconnecting some things. Unfortunately, I now have an airbag warning light on - code 9442836.

I guess it's because I powered up to check the fans were working without reconnecting the passenger airbag dashboard indicator light.

I can't seem to clear the fault code through Carista - it says it's cleared it, but comes back immediately.

Is this a VCDS jobbie, or even a dealer job?

You probably need to access the airbag modules to clear it which I’m guessing is vag software.
There may be someone near you willing to help if you have a look on Facebook etc.

To bring this to a conclusion, I dismantled the dashboard again to re-check the connection to the passenger airbag light and then managed to clear the code via Carista.
