Audi A4 / S4 Saloon vs A5 / S5 Sportback

Before petrol engines are outlawed (ok it’s a way off) I’m considering buying a 2017/2018 S4 or S5 (it part to address a mild mid life crisis.
I need to be able to get three youngish kids in; I have searched but can’t find a definitive answer - are the rear bench dimensions the same including Door to door width?
The S5 hatch looks more practical but given these cars can be thief magnets I want stealthy looks so leaning towards the more ordinary looking saloon.
Has anyone bought the A5 / S5 and wished they had the A4 /S4 or other way round? Avants seem harder to find at the right price point plus tend to have look at me wheels are the optional red callipers.

The model you're looking at is the B9, but I would think the practicality benefit still applies
