Afternoon after some ideas,

Had ordered four new tyres from a online company to be fitted at a nationwide tyre fitters today. For my skoda superb, they also checked and corrected the tracking while I was there.

Upon leaving the garage driving to work the warning light came on for the electric handbrake and the auto hold system. Stopped the car, turned it off and on again and everything seem to work as it was meant too, continued my journey.

Have just gone out in the car for 15 minutes and within 5 minutes both lights have come on again as well the tyre pressure sensor light.

Tried ringing the garage but 5 to 5pm on a Saturday they had left (absolutely no issue with that). So unfortunately can't ring until Monday and won't be able to get back to the garage until next Saturday.

With the tyre pressure sensor tomorrow I'll check all the pressure make sure they are all equal and reset the onboard display, my concern is the handbrake. Has anyone else had this issue having had tyres fitted and the tracking altered?

Any ideas appreciated.

Strange!

Had tyre pressure warning come on when i got new tyres on the civic , as you mention just reset on the cars display. It didn’t affect the hold feature tho (it doesn’t have a electric handbrake either )

Check tyre pressures, once mine were over inflated by VW and it caused some weird issues. On my last Passat b8 I got tyre pressure messages frequently some same day some 3 days afterwards. Drove me literally insane, generally its due to a very small leak/a dirty seal but wouldn't show up on their water bubble test.
Due to my line of work, I've always got leak detection spray and iirc it always leaked around the inflation valve.

Check the pressures then reset the sensors.

Just to give a update for anyone, checked pressures and reset on board display. No issues for 120 odd miles, stopping, starting, turning on and off etc. Turned onto our farm track 250 meters down and warning for the auto handbrake turns on again...
Never been an issue before, so believe something might have been disturb while the tracking was being done on the rear. Need to find out the routing for the handbrake and see if its close to the tracking adjustment, to see if anything has been disturb.
Unsure whether it is worth giving the garage who fitted the tyres a call, anyone think that is unreasonable?
