Just taken delivery of my R. Only managed a quick drive but first impressions are good. It’s defiantly faster than the old one! I don’t regret not waiting for one with options, 19’s, a big wing and an even louder exhaust could be a bit too racery for my liking.

Looking forward to getting a proper drive in later.

“Defiantly faster”

I’m guessing that was a typo, but I actually quite like it!

Enjoy the car!

So nearly a month of ownership, how is it in the real world?

Based on the Golf we bought new the same time of year, you’d better start booking it in to sort the rattles out about early September. hehe

Excellent, fast, easy to drive and comfortable. Off to Scotland next month for a proper drive.
