Could anyone tell me when replacing a Gen 2 rack in one of these if a reconditioned Gen 2 rack from a specialist will require any kind of coding?
I understand most go for a newer Gen 3 rack but I want to avoid costly dealer visits for any extra coding etc.
I've read the Gen 3 requires the steering profile re flashed which is dealer only, plus an additional wiring loom.
