Vw Golf 1.4 Tsi Turbo failure

Complete turbo failure. I fit a blow off valve to my 2010 mk6 golf 1.4 tsi 122 today which already had a failing turbo (stupid idea) and when I went for a quick drive to test it the turbo just completely failed, so I took it off and put it back to standard however the turbo just doesn’t work at all now. I’ll get the codes checked tomorrow but has anyone got any ideas what it could be?

Before this problem it would occasionally go into limp mode for a few seconds when changing gear but quickly sort itself out but now it’s just seeming to be in limp mode all the time and I’m unsure what to do.

Aside from the turbo itself it could be the wastegate, the boost solenoid valve or the diverter valve. Go to a good indy and get codes read.
