Anyone know what the light % transfer might be?

(rear windows, B8 Passat factory privacy glass)

Depends on if it's the standard option or the upgraded privacy glass option.

If it is standard then tints are 70% or if they are upgraded then it is 90%

2015 Passat brochure I have says 65% absorption.

Licensing say.....

"All glass (including windows or transparent material) behind the “B” post allows
at least 70% of light to be transmitted through it."
