Windscreen leak UP/Mii/Citigo

Morning. Anyone with a recent build Up/Citigo/Mii had a water leak from the front windscreen.

It's a Mii electric and had it a few months now but only today has water started to drip from behind the rear view mirror. Very odd as it's been washed and rained on plenty and only now is it dripping down.

My assumption is that only now has the seal given in.

Anyone else has similar?

My wife is at the dealership now but wanted to see if it was common.

We had this on our Q7, it's how they seal the windscreen.

I found an independent guy who removed the windscreen, and re sealed it.

The only risk was breaking the windscreen, we sold the car a year later but it fixed the problem.

Don't try silicone, it might stop the leak but because the windscreen isn't properly bedded, it is more prone to crack.

My wife noticed water around the top of the windscreen/headlining area in her 2017 Mini and a wet carpet made us suspect a windscreen seal leak, turned out that this was condensation due to the air conditioning condensate drain being blocked and flooding the carpet.
