2015 Leon Climate Control Temperature Sensor Help

The climate control in my leon has started playing up. When driving along the climate control will randomly start blowing very cold air for a few minutes, followed by warm before returning to a more stable temperature.

I presume the temperature sensor needs replacing, but there appears to be multiple of them - is there anyway to work out which is dodgy without an OBD scanner?

If not, what OBD scanner would be required to actually check the readings on the various sensors.
