Fault Code Reader recommendations

I have an Audi Allroad C7 2012. Can anybody recommend a good quality fault code reader that will pick up as much as possible? Thanks

Can anybody recommend a good fault code reader that I can use on both cars?

Most obd readers will be suitable for you. the most common one is VCDS for VW Audi Seat skodas... worth looking into the 'clone' been using for last couple of years, when its for personal use not worth spending the 100s for the genuine item.
never used the bluetooth connected ones with your phone but hear good things about them for basic diagnostic.

I use OBDeleven for our Skoda which seems to be able to do most things. I think it cost about £30-40; something like that.

Simple, cheap - something like OBD11 will work fine. What it can and cannot do is very well documented online.

If you want more involved then Rosstech's VCDS is what you want.
