Hi,

Yesterday I put down a deposit on a 2022 plate rs4. After I ask the sales guy how to switch off the lane assist as I hate them generally. He couldn’t find a way - there was no option in the menus and there was no button on the end of the indicator stalk.

It looks to me that it’s standard:
https://www.audi.co.uk/uk/web/en/models ... steme.html

If this is the case and its on permanently then I might try and get my deposit back and I find where I live they simply don’t work and I hate them pulling the car all over the place .

I know after 2022 these sort of options had to be standard due to EU law but thought it’s was new models rather than existing .

Anyone with a 22/23 year car on here can confirm whether it does have this and it cannot be disabled?
Thanks

My wife got her 2022 model RS4 delivered brand new a year ago.
I’ve just asked her and she said what lane departure ?!
I’ve driven it a few times on the motorway and the only safety device fitted I’ve been aware of is when a car comes past a bit close or in a blind spot and the orange light in the mirror illuminates.

Lane assist is only available as part of the tour pack with adaptive cruise, collision avoidance etc which is fitted as standard on the Vorsprung. I’m very glad I don’t have it on it mine!

I just checked with my son ( Audi sales exec ) who confirms as stated above that if fitted it would be a button on the end of the stalk so sounds like no need to get your deposit back !
Fabulous car - if only one needed it seems to tick every box.
Even with the gpf it also sounds far better than I thought it would.
Hope you enjoy it.
