2003 Audi TT Mk1… what colour headlights?

Afternoon,
I’ve been making progress on my 2003 TT. Engine bay looks great, taken some external trim off to spray , and the paint work looks great after a decent wash and some attention to the swirls.
Some new number plates on their way too.
Today I started trying to fix my headlights. Classic misting and smoke issues. I attacked them first with some WD 40 to take the surface grime off before I decide to repair or order some better ones. For the first time in almost a year ownership , after removing the grime, I’ve noticed one has black inserts and the other is grey.
I’m assuming one was broken or it’s been in a bump . What colour should I have, I want this as original as possible but finding it difficult to research.
