Remove front grill on T-Roc. Anyone done it ?

2022 T-Roc R. I want to remove the front grill, the honeycomb styled one. I know the theory, remove the four Torx screws from the top, hold the grill, slide left / right and then a good pull from the front lower corner and ease it out.
It all sounds so simple ! I just don't quite have the nerve to exert the "pull".
Has anyone actually removed the grill and any tips or advice please ?
