I am trying to locate the car build label , ie the one with engine ,gearbox, colour code information etc
Tried my local Skoda dealer , and all they could come up with is the vin plate that has weights etc
No sign of it on doors and pillars I have not completely cleared the boot space due to fitted sound insulation ,it was suggested to look under drivers seat , nothing there , not in owners handbook
Could the collective suggest where else to look
The reason for the need , MOT advisory Discs have excessive lips all round and the flexible brake pipes to read brakes need replacing , and there is more than type of each

Golf 7 here, I needed the same information for my brakes but my vehicle label was stuck within the document package, on the inside of a cover page of one of them. Might be worth a look?

Normally there is a copy of it in the original book pack (stuck in the front/back of one of the manuals) but normally the car sticker is somewhere in the boot under the carpet. Or it was on my old mk6 golf anyway.

Usually it's stuck in the front page of the service book and the boot floor. Might be under the spare wheel.
