Audi RS4 B8 Brake Caliper - Help!

Can anyone advise on where to get hold of an offside front brake caliper for a B8 RS4 (part number is 8t0615107d). I’m in urgent need as I’m supposed to be travelling to the Le Mans Classic next week.

The current caliper has a seized bleed nipple (common problem I’ve discovered today) and trying to resolve the problem is proving challenging!

I replied to your post on Facebook, try BCR directly (brake caliper refurbs).

They will use spark erosion to remove the snapped nipple, and may well be able to turn you around in time if you're quick.

Suggest calling them and asking if they happen to have a donor/exchange one on the shelf.

Thanks for the reply (on both platforms). I did give them a call but unfortunately no donors available. I’ll can’t remember if it was them but someone I spoke to suggested that if it’s already snapped two drill bits the caliper may be done for as it’s likely someone’s already attempted a repair but with the wrong material.

I bit the bullet and ordered a new caliper (last one int he country apparently). Hoping to have the brakes sorted today.

Ouch - at least the car is going to be back mobile.

BCR have saved some right grotty old things for me. Send it off to them and see. Even if it's not required it can be sold on as 'ready to go' to recoup some money.
