Audi air suspension question...

My A8 D3 will light up its yellow suspension light if I drive at more than 65mpg for any period. Now, a bit of research suggests that this will be because it is trying to drop the car in dynamic mode but the car can't comply with this command and it could be anything from worn compressor to sensors with everything in between. And yes, I know it needs plugged into something to identify what the problem might be, but my 'the man' is away till the end of the month.

Has anyone had a similar problem and what was their fix? The ride height sensors look easy enough to clean/replace, initial compressor 'rebuild' looks doable...maybe...but anything involving strut replacement will be 'the mans' domain...
