Which one? MK2 TTS v Scirocco R v MK5 R32 v MK7.5 GTI
Discussion
Are any of these 'engaging' enough as a weekend car that can do daily duties if required? I'm looking for a cheap car to compliment my B9 S4.
I like them all for different reasons.
TTS/Scirocco/R32 - values seem to be rising and I love this era of VAG product.
MK7.5 GTI - arguably the 'best' GTI and I also enjoy the MQB platform.

I own a Mk5 R32 and a Skoda Superb with the ea888 engine. The R32 is my weekend/good weather car. Get one with the recaro wingbacks and a miltek/scorpion and it feels special enough just with the engine alone tbh- not rapid but definitely got 'it'. The engine in the Superb however whilst pretty brisk is not special. Get the R32, you won't regret it, you have years and years to own a 4 pot turbo. Your hardest task will be finding a good R32.
