Can I just buy the appropriate battery, fit in and follow a you tube guide and instal it correctly this way as dealer fit batteries seem excessive in cost. I have no diagnostic tool.

The battery will need coding in so you will need some kind of diagnostic tool that supports coding it in.

TPS themselves supply Yuasa batteries, which are reasonably priced. Never had an issue with one (but yes, code correctly post-installation).

Well I ordered an Exide one from a company with Market in the name.
Ordered Friday, good price arrived yesterday.

They'd sent the wrong Exide battery completely. An unsuitable one. Not as per my order confirmation.
They rated highly in an Auto Express article too.

Now I'm struggling to make contact with the aftercare dept. The online submission is impossible.
Jeez, no one does anything right these days.
