2015 Audi A3 2.0TDI S line severe jolting whilst driving
Discussion
Hi there,
Anyone experienced this before? My Audi A3 2.0 TDI sport line has recently started violently jolting whilst driving. Doesn’t happen too often, maybe once every 30 mins or so. Happens both under light and harsh acceleration and a range of speeds. It feels like the brakes have been slammed on and lurches you forwards and I’m very stuck as to what it could be. Have had it plugged into a scanner whilst driving and throws up no fault codes at all. I read elsewhere it could be the crankshaft position sensor which I have replaced and still the problem persists. Not really sure where to go from here as fairly high mileage so don’t want to just keep throwing money at it.
cheers

Will probably need to be hooked up to a better scanner to look at live data when it happens. I would guess at a fuel delivery issue but could be a number of things.
Yeah i got a mechanic to take it out with a much better scanner and when it did it he said he couldn’t see anything so at a bit of a loss Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
