Changing service interval from variable to fixed for an A3

Is it possible to change the automatic service indicator to come on annually instead of (it seems) 9000 miles?

I would imagine that the dealer should be able to do this for you.

I have recently taken my R32 off of long life variable and put it onto fixed interval servicing, because I don't do enough miles, and feel that no car should go for two years between servicing!

Mine wasn't actually asking for a service (though it got one anyway!), so I'm not sure what the dealer did with the service indicator - I imagine that VAG com sorted it.
