Correction.It's actually a 90bhp not 80.
My latest purchase as a work car.A W reg golf 1.9TDI-S estate.All seems fine except the engine is soooooo lethargic.More lethargic than my wife's BMW compact 318 TDS (actually a 1.6 diesel), but that could be due to the Golf being heavier I guess.
Anyway,could I inject a bit of bite into this engine which has done 49K so far, by remapping the ECU or s/thing?
What sort of extra gain could I achieve and how much would it cost?
