Anyone had a fuel pump failure on a 2.5 V6 TDI ??
Discussion
Went for a trip down to the south coast last weekend and my 2000 A4 and the car just stopped like it had ran out of fuel.
The AA did their best to get it going again but to no avail, i got it recovered home and booked it in to a local independant.
I have been informed its either the pump or the loom, the car has done 142k miles and ran perfect before the sudden stop.
Has anyone else had a pump failure? and what was the cost?
At least the sun was out for the week "down south"
, thankfully the old Pug 306 came to the rescue

I have broken a 1999 2.5 A6 and have a spare pump and turbo if you are stuck.
Exchange pumps from Audi are very expensive iro £1500
