A4 Avant 1.8T 190bhp - What are they like

Does any one have experience of this engine, 190bhp doesnt seem much nowadays.

Yup - I've got one! What do you want to know? It's not the sportiest car in the world, but with the eminently tunable 1.8T lump as found in the TT/LCR/Golf GTI etc adding extra horses is only a remap away. I'm going to get mine done - I have had a Golf which was remapped and it made a big difference to the performance.

We've had one for 18 months, no problems at all and in fact quite a good car but they do need just that little bit more ooomph! inthe mid range area which a remap will sort out.

It's the one that looks the most like an S4, without actually being one.
