Ur quattro tyres - HELP Please
Discussion
The corrado uses 205-50/15.
If you check out the website www.mytyres.co.uk, you can throw some sizes to see if anything comes up.
Whilst I know that the corrado tyre is narrower, tyres have come a long way in the last 20 years or so.

I've used 225/50s on mine for a couple of years, which seem to be okay. I had a set of really cheap Nankangs as a temporary fit for the MOT and they're doing fine. The sidewalls are a little soft and you certainly can feel it when the rear corner is heavily loaded, but they're perfectly usable.
People will tell you that 225s tramline terribly, but I think that's more to do with people changing tyre brands and getting a different feeling from a different construction.
225s also have a very slightly larger diameter, but the speedo reading is only very slightly affected.
The only problem with 225/50s is that they're only used on the rear of Mk1 MR2s, which are also becoming rare. I'm going to move onto 16-inch rims later this summer, which should offer a greater tyre selection.
