Audi 100 avant auto box problem

Hi guys i wonder if any of you can help me?
just bought an lreg audi 100 estate with slush box and it drives perfectly except for when i put it in park or neutral it sometimes makes a loud metalic screeching noise,a bit like a dry bearing somewhere.
Any other gear is fine and the fault is intermittant,can anyone help?
