Hi,

my car is now due for it's brake fluid change - how much should I expect to pay and if I dont go to my Audi dealer will it affect the warranty?rolleyes

Play it safe go to Audi, ask for a quote, but they charge about £100 a hour

Mine was done by the dealer, IIRC it cost me around £50 - not worth the hassle of potentially having warranty issues IMO.

I had my S4 done at 2 years old at my local VW dealer, they have the same equipment, it cost me £47. I'd boiled it a few times so it made a big difference.

The brake fluid service is due every 2 years for all cars. The b/f absorbs moisture from the air and makes the pedal feel softer than it should. Usually the dealer would charge between 0.5-0.7 hours to do the job plus the £14ish for the 2 litres of fluid. It shouldn't affect your warrenty but if you have any brake related issues they may get fussy.
