Any advice on road going tyres for the family wagon? We never go off road and I've got on Michelin Primacy on 17" wheels, heard that Pirelli P6 were good.

Due to the weight of the vehicle and just because I've always found them good, I'd be recommending the Pirelli audi allroad special tyre...

It was designed to perform best on your actual car, is not too expensive, and is not really an offroad tyre, so should keep you happy?

I've got Goodyear Wranglers on mine, though I wouldn't recommend them. Pirelli's are better. The Goodyears seem to wear out faster and go quite hard about halfway down to the wear marks. Either tyre works remarkably well off road.

Primacy is pretty much the best "average" road tyre around these days. Others will give you mroe grip, others more life but i've not found a better compromise.

Bought my allroad with newish Pirellis. Changed to allroad Wranglers after 15,000 miles as the Pirellis wore so badly. I like the Wranglers, especially in the wet. Pump them up to 35psi and off you go.
