hi av just blew a pipe on my golf gt tdi 130 o2 plate. Think its a intercooler pipe? Got a metal pipe on the end with a sir clip that holds it in. Runs along the top of the timing belt which has just been done 3 weeks ago! dont know if they havent put it back in rite?! Anybody got any ideas why its done this?

Very similar thing happened to me on my GTi TDi 150. The clips as you probably know are not like jubilee clips, they fit into slots. Mine went about 3 times because slot, which the clip fits into, in the end of the metal pipe, had broken off. I had to have a new metal pipe fitted, cost about 120 notes. Had to take the front end of the car off too to do it, which amazingly is fairly easy to do as long as you have an extra pair of hands helping. Hope that helps.
