re-setting Service warning VW Bora.

My service intervals are currently out of step with the service indicator on my VW Bora TDI 2002 model. I was told how to clear this before, but I am damned if i can remember! Please can someone let me know how to do this, as the beeping every time I start up the car is begining to grate.

press and hold right hand button in istriment cluster,
switch ingnition on
the word service will appear in trip recorder
release button(right hand)
turn left button in cluster to the right to reset the display
switch ingnition off.
