Rain filled footwell in 94 Audi Coupe??

Came out the other day and the passenger footwell was literally full of water. Seemed to be coming from the back of glove box carpet.

Had a quick look around, no apparant holes but did notice the plastic strip that runs below the bottom of the windscreen not looking to clever over the passenger side. Could this let in this much water?? It has been p*ssing down recently!

Normally that would suggest that your matrix is leaking, but I suppose it is quite possible that the seal around the windscreen has done it.

Dry the car out thoroughly and then get happy with a hose on the outside and see if any water is coming in.

Will do, cheers, i'll give that a go! Although, best wait a while, am down in Glos where we're still on the bowsers coz of the floods. If the locals saw me filling up buckets just to throw over the screen they might get a bit funny!
