Hey guys,
Just thought I'd post a few pics of this R8 that's in Winchester Cars in Sheffield at the moment.
It's the first one I've seen up close and I was very impressed.
I think the strategic parking between a Gallardo Spyder and the SE made for close comparisons too.

Hope you like the pics and thanks for looking..

Nice pics. Lovely looking car IMO.

Does anyone know what the soon to be launched V10(Gallardo engined) R8 will be called, yet? R8-V10, R8S or R10?

No idea, but I would expect they will use their 5.2 V10 and not the engine out of the Gallardo if they make one.

Lovely inside but it looks like a longer TT. Its also very colour sensitive especially with the side vent things.
Did you just walk in and ask if you could take photos?

I'd have thought that too when I first heard it was announced but every article I have read/heard about the R8 V10 so far states that it will get the Gallardo engine.

if you want supercar/sensible running costs buy a 997 turbo...imo r8 looks awkward side on..seen a few on road...can see why it gets mistaken for tt..feel that once hype has passed will depreciate same as big audis/mercs/bmw's.

The 'hype' is based on real capability, so rather than being just all show and no go it's a genuine supercar in the way it tackles a twisty road.

I don't think you'd be at all sad if you bought either.
