Anyone point me the direction of a company who can provide upgrades to an S5. What sort of costs are involved too.
Heard of a company in France called MTM who do the following upgrades, but so far cant get anyone to tell me exactly what these upgardes will do and costs involved
MTM Brakes
MTM Suspension
MTM Exhaust Line
And soon MTM Kompressor.
Thanks

Hi mate.
MTM are a german company.
see:
www.mtm-online.de
However QST based in Sussex are agents in the UK.
Very expensive in light of other tuners I feel, although it has to be admitted that their products are very well conceived.
That being said, the supercharger kit alone is £11000 on an S4, so yours should be similar.
Why not wait for:
APR tuning:
See:

Should be a similar performance, and at $8000 US it's considerably cheaper.
Other suspension items such as KW will be good bits of kit.
PS this will not help your fuel consumption that you were griping about.....

Does anyone know what the difference is between the S5 and the RS4 engine?
I assume it runs different cams as the power delivery is much more top endy on the RS4, also ECU mapping is bound to change but otherwise basically same engine. I wonder if any of the German tuners are offering as RS4 upgrade yet as my thoughts are to go down this route?

MTM and Nothelle used to offer some great conversions/ upgrades for the series 3/4 coupe quattros. The Nothelle N300 was a cracking bit of kit. The MTM RSR was even better, making 440bhp from the 5 banger turbo, also included suspension and brake makeovers.
Deviating a little but there is a point, these were in leu of there not being an RS coupe, this gave RS performance to the prettier car as Porsche did not want Audi to produce a rival coupe with RS power. I guess the A5 with RS4 power will be knocking on the door of the R8 and try and maintain the market place for each model.
I have seen a few S/C variants on the S4 power plant and given the looks of the A5 i can see it becoming a likelihood.

I would stick to one of the proper tuning companies such as MTM. Little companies such as APS are no more than just a parts reseller and fitting workshop. There are lots of companies who call them themselves "tuning companies" who have no real capabilities other than fitting. If you want to keep you car safe play it safe and go with the big boys. I think the MTM supercharger kit has been done with ABT.
Best of luck
