Yesterday, I took my A6 Le Mans to one of those hand carwashes staffed by immigrants, who i guess are earning a pittance.
After they washed the car and I had paid, a couple of the came up to me, complimented the car on its looks etc and asked how much it cost!
I was really embarrassed, they had their 20 year old micra parked at the back of the forecourt. I didn't know what to say, and felt like a rich git who was taking advantage of poor people.
What would you have said?
all i said was "thanks, it is a nice car", and i scarpered.
