Poor quality door handle material on VW
Discussion
Just bought a 2004 VW Touran and have noticed that the material used for the interior door (pull/grab) handles (not chrome lever) is very poor.
New ones are cheap enough, but does anyone know how these are replaced?
I also need to replace a complete door interior panel, anyone know how to take the old one off ?
Thanks in advance.

I replace quite a few of these on Audi/VW/Skodas that I have sold.Like you say they are cheap(think the last one I bought was around £8+VAT).You can carefully prise them out with a flat blade screwdriver and clip the new one into place-a 2 minute job and no need to remove the whole door trim etc.New ones are cheap enough, but does anyone know how these are replaced?

Edited to add this is for the door handle/elec window switch surround.
