Desirable options on an A4 Cab
Discussion
Hi,
I've just sold my last car and am now in the market for a used A4 convertible.
Can anyone tell me what are the best options/configuration for this car?
I am looking at 2002 onwards, black with black leather. Instinct tells me to go for the full screen sat nav - is this worth doing or is an after market unit a better bet?
any help would be appreciated - and apologies if this has been covered here before...
Thanks

Recommended option, Metal ROOF, the cabs are trouble. A nice A4 S-Line saloon will be a much better car.
Noisy, creaky body (not stiff enough), noisy creaky suspension , random electric roof faults,
Opinion of cynical technician, not that of Audi cars.
Relative to what competition? The Beetle cab is very solidly built and doesn't flex noticeably. If you're comparing it to a tin-top, yes, it's going to be worse, but that's not necessarily a desirable alternative. Compared to the competition (CLK, 3-series, Saab 9-3) the Audi's fine.Noisy, creaky body (not stiff enough), noisy creaky suspension , random electric roof faults,

Plus the tin-top A4 will lose a *lot* more of its value...
